From a young age, I learned to give an intuitive and caring touch. Later in my adult life I discovered my love, and passion for the body so I studied massage therapy and anatomy. I learned how we as bodies function and how restorative a massage treatment or tending to ones own self-care can be.
After graduating from the Santa Barbara Body Therapy Institute with 650 hours of hands-on training I started assisting others in managing and relieving acute and chronic pain patterns because I felt a desire to share what I have learned. I realized that my purpose for this world is to support other's in their quality of life by giving restorative touch followed with tips on how to utilize self-care treatment plans to take care of your pain or discomort.
I continue to take courses that involve body awareness and study how the body performs and reacts to integrative massage therapy techniques to alleviate pain and discomfort combined with post self-care techniques. I enjoy giving self-care massage tips and sharing what I learn with anyone in pain or discomfort to assist in the journey of body maintenence and health. Our body is our vessel that carries our mind and our spirit and I believe we should do the best we can to take care of it using self-care maintenence and bodywork.
As innate beings we need bodywork given with an intuitive, knowledgeable, and caring touch. We also need a self-care practice to restore, maintain, and enhance our well-being. Learning and understanding how to tend to our bodies when in pain or discomfort is key to maintaining and returning to balance. I enjoy sharing with others how to be their own healthcare advocate by integrating massage therapy with self-care techniques for a healthy lifestyle.
